Rod Fergusson Talks Diablo 4 and Switch 2 Potential in Recent Interview
In a candid interview with Gamertag Radio, Diablo boss Rod Fergusson shared his thoughts on a potential Nintendo Switch 2 port for Diablo 4. While careful not to make any promises, Fergusson described a “real opportunity” to bring the game to Nintendo’s next system Diablo 4 Items.
Diablo 4 has matured considerably since its release, with multiple updates bringing new life to its dark, demon-infested world. Players have seen new enemies, classes like the Spiritborn, and seasonal arcs such as the upcoming Belial's Return, which keeps the game fresh and engaging.
The idea of taking this content-rich experience on the go is incredibly appealing. With Switch 2’s rumored ability to handle graphically intensive games like Cyberpunk 2077, Diablo 4 may not be out of reach.
Though Fergusson admitted logistical issues—particularly around live-service support—could be a hurdle, his hopeful tone gives fans something to be excited about Diablo 4 Boosting.
